Known for its rich culture, the city of Rosario has numerous museums and theaters sprinkled through its city. It is one of the largest cities in Argentina, and the largest in the province of Santa Fe. This city has become known for its artistic culture and for having produced many artists.

On this day October 7th, in 1793, Rosario, Argentina is founded. Its patron saint has become the Virgin of the Rosary, an alternate name for the Virgin Mary.

One of Rosario’s attractions is its architecture. Many of its structures were classically inspired, built in a style called Neoclassical Architecture. The city has about 1 million people living in it, and it has become an industrial center. Via both the Port of Rosario and its railroad, Rosario is also a major exporter of grains, vegetables, and some textiles.
