The Untouchables is a film based on the autobiographical book by Eliot Ness and Oscar Fraley. It is about a federal agent who is on the hunt for criminals and works with a group of other men whom he can rely on. More specifically it is about the Prohibition era and bringing Al Capone to pay for his crimes.
On June 2nd 1987, The movie Untouchables with Kevin Kostner, Robert De Niro, and Sean Connery was released. It was a big hit in the box office and made around $10 million in it’s opening weekend alone.
The film was nominated for 4 Academy Awards, but only one was won by Sean Connery for Best Actor in Supporting Role. Nonetheless this film was big and even had a video game made after it.
